ABOUT
Sigma Automation was started in 1997 by Peter Englert, a former employee of Siemens AG in Germany and Siemens Energy and Automation in the USA.

At Sigma Automation, we know what it takes to sell, integrate and successfully support automation systems. That's why we're committed to selling automation solutions. Experience doesn't come easy.
​
Peter has over 35 years of experience in industrial automation. He began his career in Germany in 1973 as an apprentice electrician at the age of 15, became a journeyman in 1977 and later advanced into electrical engineering.
While at Siemens, Peter worked closely with product developers at automation headquarters in Nuremberg/Moorenbrunn, which contributed considerably to his understanding of Simatic automation systems. Peter went on to publish technical articles in Siemens' "Simatic Report" magazine, highlighting new and innovative automation solutions using Siemens automation systems. Peter has also served as a Siemens keynote speaker at tradeshows, seminars and conferences both in the USA and in Germany.
